Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Multan, each with its own rent, grocery, utility and transport costs. Anywhere else falls back to a national average.

How much salary is enough to live in Pakistan?

It depends far more on your household than your city. One person sharing can live on about Rs 55,000; one person alone in a major city needs closer to Rs 85,000; a family of four with a child in private school is tight below about Rs 165,000 and comfortable near Rs 280,000.
